The Chief Medical Director Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe, Dr Yusuf M. Abdullahi paid a friendly visit to the Medical Director Federal Medical Centre Jalingo Dr. Aisha Shehu Adamu in her office.
In his key note Address, the Chief Medical Director, Dr Yusuf M Abdullahi stated that, the aim of the visit is to enhance the cordial relationship between the two establishments being that they both serve humanity.
Dr Yusuf urged Members of the Management team to give the Medical Director maximum cooperation in other to move the hospital forward. He also stated that, the hospital is a team work ,where everyone has an important role to play.
The CMD was taken round the Centre by the Medical Director to various places which include the newly constructed Accidents and Emergency Complex, the new Theater Complex, the Kidney Centre and Critical Intensive Care unit among others.
Dr. Yusuf commended the Medical Director’s achievements recorded so far under her leadership within just three and half years. In his words, “the new Accidents and Emergency Complex is one of the best in the country”.
Earlier on in her welcome address, the Medical Director FMC Jalingo Dr Aisha Shehu Adamu expressed her joy with the visit, appreciating the August visitor for the brotherhood visit, while promising to maintain the existing relationship to move the health tertiary institutions to achieve the renewed hope agenda of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the Health Sector.
In a related development, a prominent philanthropist and friend of the hospital also paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Medical Centre Jalingo and was taken round the Centre by the Medical Director, Dr Aisha Shehu Adamu, The places visited include new A and E Complex, Auditorium, and Fire Service Centre projects under construction. In his bid to help some indigent patients, he settled the medical bill of some less privileged patients, while promising to partner with Committee of the friends of the hospital Association in other to assist the indigent patients.
