Court Sentences 15 ‘shila Boys’ To Jail Terms In Adamawa

The Chief Magistrate Court 2 in Adamawa State has sentenced 15 members of the notorious ‘Shila Boys’ gang to various prison terms for numerous crimes.

The convicted thugs, aged between 20 and 30, were found guilty of extortion, receiving stolen property, thuggery, criminal conspiracy, and causing grievous hurt.

Two of the convicts, Umar Abubakar and Sadam Yakubu, received the maximum sentence of five years imprisonment with options of N120,000 and N150,000 fines respectively for receiving stolen property.

Thirteen others were sentenced to prison terms ranging from two to three years, with some given options of fines.
