Danbaba Suntai Airport Resumes Flight Operations

Flight operations have officially resumed at the Danbaba Suntai Airport in Jalingo, marking a significant milestone in Taraba State’s air travel sector.

The resumption was heralded by the arrival of an Overland Airways Embraer 125 aircraft, which touched down at exactly 1:25 PM on Wednesday. The aircraft, carrying 88 passengers, was warmly received by state officials, aviation stakeholders, and excited residents.

Speaking on the development, a representative of Overland Airways expressed enthusiasm about the renewed air connectivity, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to providing safe and efficient services to travelers in Taraba State and beyond.

“The return of flight operations will boost economic activities, facilitate business travel, and enhance tourism within the state,” the official stated.

Passengers onboard the inaugural flight lauded the initiative, highlighting the convenience of having direct air access to Jalingo without the need for long road journeys.
