DSS Brutalizes Governor Fintiri’s Media Aide In Adamawa

In what appears to be a clear case of DSS brutality, a personnel of the Department of State Service identified as Peter Micheal Obapitan alongside his colleagues have masterminded the physical assault of Mr. Ijabani Ijahu, Special Assistant to Governor Ahmadu Umaru on Social Media and Content Creation.

According to Mr. Ijabani who is currently receiving medical attention at a healthcare facility in Yola, said he was ambushed at the middle of the road while driving, manhandled and forcefully dragged out of his car by the DSS operatives on Monday at the Bekaji-round in Jimeta.

He explained that he was badly tortured before being interrogated on what transpired between him and Peter’s wife, Tina – the woman he leased shop facilities to.

Upon narration, the operatives who later found out that he was not at fault, pleaded with him to let go after the ill-treatment which inflicted several injuries on him.

Ijabani lamented that the security operatives who are supposed to protect the citizens from harm are now the ones causing mayhem.

He stated that the humiliation and brutality by some over zealous security men needed to be checkmate, adding that he will seek redress in court.

An eye witness account, confirmed how a red Honda Civic car was blocked at the middle of the road in Jimeta and its occupants outrightly brutalized and bundled the victim into a Hilux vehicle.

All efforts by Adamawa State NEWS to contact the DSS office Yola for comments on Ijabani’s claims proved abotive as of the time of filling this report.
