As the 2024 Eid-El Fitr Sallah Celebration approaches, the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), has deployed security officers to guarantee the safety and smooth running of the festivities in Adamawa State.
In a statement released on Monday by SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, ANIPR, Police Public Relations Officer, For Commissioner Of Police, CP Dankombo Morris has reassured the residents of Adamawa State of comprehensive security arrangements to safeguard the celebrations.
Emphasizing the importance of professionalism, the Commissioner has instructed all deployed officers to exhibit a high level of expertise throughout the period.
In preparation for the event, the CP has mandated the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, to oversee and ensure that all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Operational Commanders personally supervise security operations in their designated areas.
They are tasked with conducting visible patrols around Eid grounds, Recreational Centers, Residential Areas, and other public places to deter any potential disturbances by criminal elements.
The Adamawa State Police Command extends warm felicitations to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Governor of Adamawa State, and the entire populace on the occasion of the Sallah Celebrations.
