FCE (Technical) Gombe Advertises Vacancies for Academic, Non-Teaching Staff

The Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe, has announced vacancies for academic and non-teaching positions across various departments and disciplines, according to a statement signed by the Registrar, Alh. (Dr.) Umar Muhammad Bello.

In the advertisement issued from the Registrar’s Office, the College invited applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill positions ranging from Assistant Lecturer to Senior Lecturer in 25 academic departments, including Islamic and Christian Religious Studies, English, Chemistry, Geography, Social Studies, Fine and Applied Arts, among others.

Vacant ranks listed include Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I, II, and III, as well as Assistant Lecturer. The College is also recruiting into non-teaching positions, including Chief Nursing Superintendent, Medical Officer, Pharmacist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Nurse/Midwife Superintendent, and Chief Community Health Assistant at the College Clinic.

Additional vacancies exist for Higher Technologist and Higher Technician in metal and woodwork.

According to the criteria stated, applicants for the academic roles must possess a minimum of a Second-Class Lower Division in relevant disciplines, a Master’s or Doctoral degree, as well as publications in academic journals and conference papers appropriate to the position sought.

Evidence of registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is mandatory for all academic positions.

Applicants for clinical and technical positions must hold relevant degrees or diplomas, valid licenses from respective regulatory bodies, and meet specified years of post-graduation cognate experience.

Interested applicants must be between 18 and 55 years of age and are expected to submit their applications online within two weeks from the date of the publication via the College’s recruitment portal: https://recruitment.fcetgombe.edu.ng.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, the statement added.
