
The Federal Government on Thursday launched the DeepTech_Ready Upskilling Program, an initiative aimed at equipping Nigerians with foundational and advanced skills in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, announced the launch, stating that the program aligns with the government’s 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) initiative.
I am pleased to announce the launch of the DeepTech_Ready Upskilling programme — another significant step towards transforming Nigeria into a leading hub for digital skills and development,” Tijani said.
He urged young Nigerians to apply via https://3mtt.nitda.gov.ng/deeptech/ to enhance their skills in emerging technologies, particularly AI and Data Science, and contribute to the growth of the digital economy.
According to the program’s website, the six-month training is available to 3MTT fellows and individuals with basic to intermediate technical knowledge. The program combines self-paced learning, on-site sessions, and online support to ensure effective training.
