FG Opens Portal for 12-Month Internship Programme

The Federal Government has opened the application portal for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) — a 12-month paid internship initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerian graduates with practical work experience, mentorship, and career development opportunities.

According to the information released on the official NJFP website, successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of ₦150,000 throughout the one-year duration of the programme.

The internship targets Nigerian graduates aged 30 years or below who finished not earlier than 2022. Eligible candidates must possess a B.Sc degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) or an HND with a minimum CGPA of 3.0, as well as an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

The programme, jointly implemented by the Federal Government, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the European Union (EU), seeks to bridge the gap between learning and earning by connecting high-potential graduates with host organisations across both the public and private sectors.

Applications are now open and can be completed online through the NJFP portal at https://portal.njfp.ng/registration/.

Further details about the programme, eligibility criteria, and selection process are available on the official website www.njfp.ng.

The NJFP is part of the government’s broader youth empowerment and job creation strategy designed to enhance employability and economic inclusion among Nigerian graduates.
