Fintiri Assures Ganye Chiefdom Of Road Infrastructure Development

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has assured the people of Ganye Chiefdom that his administration is committed to connecting the Jada, Mbulo, Ganye road to enhance economic development in the area.

He made this promise during a courtesy visit by the people of Ganye chiefdom at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Yola, Monday.

According to Fintiri, his administration recognizes the challenges posed by the poor condition of the road and its impact on agricultural and economic activities in the affected communities.

He reiterated his commitment to rural development, stating that his administration will focus on infrastructural development in rural areas in the 2025 financial year and beyond.

The Governor also warned those engaging in illegal mining and their accomplices to stop or face the full wrath of the law, emphasizing that his administration will not tolerate any acts disrupting peace and security.

With elections for the vacant position of Ganye’s representative in the State House of Assembly approaching, Governor Fintiri declared he would not interfere in the selection of his party’s candidate, pledging to support and campaign for the chosen candidate.

Muhammad Inuwa Bassi, representing Mayo Belwa, Jada, Ganye, and Toungo in the Green Chamber, congratulated Governor Fintiri on his court-affirmed victory and the significant strides his administration has made across the state.

Bassi noted that Adamawa has proudly joined the league of developed states, earning numerous awards for the Governor.

Bassi highlighted Governor Fintiri’s notable achievements, including prompt salary payments, continuous payment of WAEC and NECO fees, scholarship allowances, and the signing of the School of Agriculture in Ganye.

He urged the Governor to groom a worthy successor to continue his purposeful leadership.

Alh Umaru Adamu Sanda, Gangwari Ganye, expressed concerns about the infiltration of people in the area, posing security challenges, and called for government action.

He reaffirmed the chiefdom’s loyalty and support for Governor Fintiri’s administration, praising his leadership style as pace-setting and commendable.
