Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has received an award of honor from his alma matter, University of Maiduguri (Unimaid).
Governor Fintiri was bestowed with the award as Distinguished Alumnus and Ambassador of the Department of History and Strategic Studies (DAAD.HSS).
The award was in recognition of Governor Fintiri’s considerable achievements in office and his exemplary style of leadership in Adamawa State.
This award was coming barely days, after Governor Fintiri has bagged Hellen Keller International award for impactful healthcare Programme implementation in Adamawa.
In a statement by the Governor’s aide on new media, Fintiri appreciates the recognition from his alma matter, saying the award will spur him to do more to the people of Adamawa.
He reafirmed his unshakable commitment to good governance that will take Adamawa to greater heights so that every citizen will be proud of.
