Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on Wednesday directed the State’s Scholarship board to begin the selection of female students who have qualified for this year’s scholarship.
He expressed his commitment to the education of female students and announced that any female student in the state with nine credits or above would be awarded a scholarship to further their studies.
Governor Fintiri emphasized that the scholarship program will be continuous and assured that the state government is dedicated to providing education to all qualified students, regardless of their background.
The governor also emphasized the importance of educating the girl child and stated that his administration is committed to providing equal opportunities for all deserving individuals.
The parents of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the governor and praised him for his efforts in the development of the state. They presented gifts to the governor as a token of their appreciation.
