Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has commenced the disbursement of the Presidential Conditional Grant to 750 vulnerable persons across the state.
The initiative targets individuals with special needs and is aimed at improving their livelihoods through financial support for small-scale businesses and other income-generating activities.
Under the programme, each beneficiary received ₦50,000 to help boost their economic capacity and enhance self-reliance.
Officials said the intervention is part of ongoing efforts to cushion the impact of economic hardship on vulnerable groups, while promoting inclusive development in the state.
The disbursement is also expected to provide immediate relief and support to beneficiaries, as the state government intensifies efforts to empower disadvantaged citizens.
The gesture reflects the administration’s commitment to social protection and economic inclusion for all segments of society.
