Fintiri Dissolves 50 Development Area Administrators in Adamawa

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has on Friday approved the immediate dissolution of all 50 Development Area Administrators across the state.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, the affected administrators have been directed to hand over all official documents, properties, and responsibilities to the most senior staff in their respective areas.

Governor Fintiri expressed his appreciation to the outgoing administrators, acknowledging their contributions to grassroots development and their role in advancing the state government’s agenda.

“I commend the Development Area Administrators for their tireless efforts in stimulating development at the grassroots level. Their support has been instrumental in achieving successes in our state,” the Governor said.

He described them as “great motivators” and wished them success in their future endeavours, assuring the people of Adamawa State of continued commitment to their welfare and development.

The statement further noted that the Governor’s office would provide guidance to ensure a smooth and seamless transition, with senior staff expected to maintain continuity in governance and ongoing government programs.
