Fintiri Hosts Jimeta Delegation, Unveils Plans To Strengthen Civil Service, Infrastructure

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has outlined strategic plans to enhance the state’s civil service through targeted recruitment and workforce development by 2025.

The administration also aims to economically empower 100,000 youths and women through business grants. During a courtesy visit with Jimeta residents, Governor Fintiri unveiled infrastructure development plans, including road construction in Bacure and surrounding areas.

He highlighted notable achievements, including the upgraded Jimeta water treatment plant and expanded water reticulation.

Commissioner Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji praised the governor’s efforts, while lawmakers and local leaders assured their continued support. Former Speaker Hassan Turaki and Hon. Salihu Baba Ahmed commended the governor’s initiatives, citing their influence in joining the PDP.

The Jimeta delegation expressed gratitude for the governor’s economic and social projects, with the State Chief Judge presenting a gift acknowledging his contributions to Yola North.
