Fintiri In Attendance As Jimeta Community Honors Adamawa Chief Judge

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was among the dignitaries who attended the civic reception in honour of Justice Hapsatu Abdurrahman, Adamawa State Chief Judge.

According to Muhammad B. Tukur, SSA New Media to the Governor, the event which was held in the Banquet Hall Government House, Yola drew participants mostly Jimeta indigenes from across the country.

In his remarks, Governor Umaru Fintiri noted that Justice Hapsatu’s appointment was indeed based on merit, that followed all the due process.

The Governor commended her role in the dispensation of justice, saying Adamawa is lucky to have such a great woman of excellence.

Justice Hapsatu Abdurrahman, in her vote of thanks, appreciates the Jimeta community for honouring her with a befitting reception and assured her continued commitment to safeguarding the rule of law.

There were goodwill messages from various dignitaries while cultural dance displays added colour to the event.

Among the dignitaries that attended the program were Members representing Yola South North and Girei Federal Constituency Hon. Babazango, Members of the State Assembly, Secretary to the State Government Hon.Auwal Tukur, Chief of Staff Government House Yola Dr Edgar Amos, Commissioners among others
