Fintiri, Kefas, Others Arrives Ghana For Inauguration Of Mahama

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has arrived in Accra, Ghana, to attend the inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama.

According to the chief press secretary to the governor, the ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at the iconic Black Star Square.

Governor Fintiri is joined by the Governors of Taraba, Plateau, Zamfara, and Delta States, who are all guests of President-elect Mahama.

The Governors met on Monday to discuss key issues ahead of the inauguration.

Mahama’s inauguration marks a significant milestone in Ghana’s democratic journey, as he returns to the presidency eight years after losing power.

He campaigned on a promise to revitalize Ghana’s economy and won the presidential election with his main rival conceding defeat after partial results showed Mahama was on course to win.

Mahama’s inauguration is expected to be a grand event, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ten other heads of state and numerous dignitaries from around the world in attendance.
