Fintiri Swears In State Electoral Commission’s New Chair, Members

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Friday has sworn in the newly appointed chairman and members of the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC).

According to Muhammad B. Tukur Gcfr, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, the event took place in the Council Chamber Government House, Yola, on Friday, following the appointees’ confirmation by the State House of Assembly.

The appointees include Mohammed Umar Jabu as Chairman and members Zidon Love, Emmanuel Anuhu Abba, Gidado Abdussalam, Mark Balanso, Suleiman Yahaya Vokna, and Mohammed Tuki.

Governor Umaru Fintiri emphasized that their appointment was based on integrity, character, and experience.

He urged them to discharge their new assignment with dedication and fairness, reassuring his readiness to provide the necessary support.

The new Chairman, Mohammed Umar Jabu, expressed gratitude and assured that they would bring their experience to bear.

The oath of office and allegiance were administered by the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Afraimu Jingi.
