Fintiri to Support Vulnerable Groups with Microcredit in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Government says it has concluded plans to provide microcredit support to vulnerable residents across the state to improve their livelihoods and strengthen small businesses.

The initiative, championed by the state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, will be implemented through the Adamawa chapter of the Presidential Conditional Grant Programme.

The State Focal Person for the programme, A. Alkasim, disclosed this in a statement, noting that the intervention aims to support vulnerable groups with financial assistance to start or expand small-scale businesses.

According to him, the programme is designed to improve the standard of living of beneficiaries and stimulate economic activities at the grassroots level.

He explained that the microcredit support would target vulnerable individuals across communities in the state, enabling them to engage in productive ventures and achieve financial stability.

Alkasim said the initiative reflects the commitment of the Fintiri administration to poverty reduction and economic empowerment in Adamawa.

He added that the programme would also contribute to sustainable development by strengthening small enterprises and creating opportunities for residents at the grassroots.
