The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has on Saturday appeal to the Federal government to put all necessary mechanism in place for the actualisation of Mambila Hydro Electric Dam Project, for the overall development of the region.
The Governor made the appealed at the 10th year anniversary celebration of His Royal Majesty, Dr Shehu Baju II, the chief of Mambila.
Representing the Governor at the event was the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Awwal D. Tukur, who echoed Governor Fintiri’s sentiments.
Additionally, Governor Fintiri praised the relentless efforts of Taraba’s Governor, His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, in advancing peace and unity within the state.
