Wife of the Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday inspected Future Assured College Maiduguri where she was received by the Borno State Acting Governor, Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur, Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Bukar Tijjani, Commissioner for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Engineer Lawan Abba Wakilbe.
While receiving her, the commissioner for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Engineer Lawan Abba Wakilbe as well as the director of the school conducted them round various units and classrooms of the school.
The purpose of her visit was to see for herself and ascertain the progress made so far and to discuss modalities for improved collaboration and greater impact.
It could be recalled that the college was established by the Aisha Buhari Foundation in Maiduguri to cater for the educational needs of victims of Boko Haram Insurgency in the state.
