The Forum of Special Advisers to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. (Dr) Mai Mala Buni, has reaffirmed its loyalty and commitment to the administration, commending the Governor for his developmental strides across the state.

This is contained in a statement signed by Mamman Mohammed, Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, and made available to newsmen in Damaturu on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the Forum, led by its Chairman, Hon. Usman Adamu Kabarma, paid a solidarity visit to Governor Buni, during which it commended the administration for its ongoing infrastructural projects and people-centred initiatives.

Kabarma, who spoke on behalf of the Advisers, said the forum remained proud to be part of the administration and assured the Governor of their continuous support in advancing good governance and sustainable development.

“We appreciate the open-door policy of your administration and the sense of belonging accorded to us. We are proud to be carried along and to contribute meaningfully to the success of this government,” he said.

The forum also expressed satisfaction with the inclusiveness and opportunities provided to its members, describing the Governor’s leadership as transparent, responsive, and focused on the welfare of the people.

Responding, Governor Mai Mala Buni commended the Special Advisers for their individual and collective contributions to the progress of the state.

“It is a collective responsibility, and I am glad with your individual and collective contributions to the development of our dear state,” the Governor said.

Buni assured the Advisers of more opportunities to contribute to the state’s development, noting that his administration would continue to prioritise inclusive governance and capacity building for sustainable progress.

The visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Advisers and the state government to ensure effective policy implementation in line with the administration’s development agenda.
