Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri during Qur’anic Graduation has assured of his continued commitment towards ensuring that peace prevail in Adamawa state.
He was speaking at the 2024 annual Qur’anic graduation ceremony of 53 pupils organized by Sheikh Modibbo Zailani Foundation for Qur’anic memorization at Gudummiya in Hong local government area.
Governor Fintiri represented by the State Head of Service, Pharmacist Shehu Isa Ardo said Government would continue with it’s doggedness to ensure that peace among the people is maintained and developmental projects and provided calling for more support.
Earlier, Chairman of the occasion, Mallam Gambo Jika who doubles as the chairman Adamawa state Muslim council commended the proprietor of the school, Aminu Sheikh Hamidu and called on parents to give their children moral upbringing.
Guest Speaker, Doctor Bashir Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Explained the significance of memorizing the glorious Qur’an and briefed the ummah on how it was revealed to the Messenger of Allah Muhammad peace be upon him.
Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Bathiya Wesley, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, Lamido Adamawa Doctor Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa and Kalipha of Tijjaniya in Nigeria Sanusi Lamido Sanusi made Various donations.
Founder of the School Modibbo Amin Sheikh Hamidu thanked all those that have contributed to the success of the event and said the foundation has forty one learning centres from within and outside the state with a total of five thousand pupils.
Highlights of the occasion was the launching of twenty twenty four ALMANAC and award presentations to Governor Umaru Fintiri among others for their outstanding contributions to promoting Islam and peace.
