The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested four youths suspected of terrorizing the Jambutu community in Yola North Local Government Area.
The suspects – Sadiq Usman, 20, Abba Ibrahim, 18, Abdul Jibrin, 20, and Labaran Muhammed, 20 – were caught at Geriyo Junction, notorious for night and daylight robberies.
According to Suleiman Nguroje, the Police Command’s spokesman, the suspects were found with dangerous weapons, including a dagger and a knife, and were smoking dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp. This arrest follows multiple complaints of robbery and theft from communities in the area.
The Police have taken proactive measures to curb crime in Adamawa, deploying additional operatives to communities during the ember months.

The suspects are currently in custody for further investigations.
