FUDECO Partners GESoL On Regreening Adamawa State

Fulbe Development and Cultural Organisation (FUDECO) Adamawa State Chapter led by the Vice Chairman Alh. Ustaz Salihu Mohammad and State Secretary Jibo Alhaji Manu, by means of partnering, have participated in the activities aimed at regreening Adamawa State, championed by the Green Environmental Solutions (GESoL).

The occasion was tree planting held at a Fufore community, Fufore local government area on July 9, 2024, with a view to address the challenges associated with climate change occasioned by indiscriminate felling of trees.

The seeds and seedlings are donated by GESoL, an environmental NGO founded by a Nigerian based in Canada Medical Doctor, Ibrahim Muhammad Dodo.

GESoL has planted hundred of thousands trees in Adamawa, Kano, Nassarawa Kaduna and Jigawa among other states

The seeds and seedlings planted, with the collaboration of FUDECO and the Furore community, are mainly fruits and economic trees; the aim is to encourage and educate children and communities on the importance of trees.
