Gombe, Nigeria – The Gombe State Government, through the Gombe Revenue Optimisation Company Limited (GROCOL), has concessioned the new Mega Motor Park to Principal Facilities Management (PFM) to enhance infrastructure, services, and economic growth.
According to the Managing Director of GROCOL, Abdulkadir Usman, the concession aims to improve transportation services, create jobs, and stimulate commercial activities.
The Mega Motor Park, a 25-hectare facility, features modern amenities, including a hotel, clinic, auto workshops, shops, offices, a fire station, and a police station.
The park, which can handle up to 5,000 vehicles daily, is scheduled to start operations on May 6, 2024, with Gombe Line, while other parks will commence operations from May 20.
The concession is expected to revolutionize the public transportation experience in Gombe State and catalyze sustainable growth and prosperity.
The CEO of Principal Facilities Management Limited, Mayowa Ani, assured that with their track record of managing public assets, they are poised to deliver exceptional services at the Mega Motor Park. The concession is the 4th Public Private Partnership (PPP) asset in PFML’s portfolio.
