Gombe Gov Approves Appointment of Adviser, Senior and Special Assistants

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has approved the appointment of a Special Adviser, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants across various portfolios to enhance governance and service delivery.

The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the governor’s approval on Thursday in Gombe, said the appointments are part of efforts to strengthen coordination, deepen public engagement, and integrate grassroots stakeholders in policy implementation and development planning.

He said the appointments take effect from May 22, 2025.

The appointees are:

1. Abubakar Abdullahi (Habun DK) – Special Adviser on Agriculture and Farmer-Herder Coordination

2. Alhaji Muhammad Saleh Jauro (Jauro Hammadu) – Senior Special Assistant II on Public Communications

3. Mrs Euphemia Chizoba Obio-Okeke – Senior Special Assistant II on Community Relations

4. Hajiya Hannatu M. Ibrahim – Senior Special Assistant II on Community Relations

5. Aminu Abdullahi Musa – Special Assistant II (Political)

6. Abubakar Musa Bojude – Special Assistant II (Political)

7. Usman Baba Mohammed – Special Assistant II (Political)

8. Hajiya Amina Abubakar – Special Assistant II on Women Mobilisation

9. Dahiru Mohammed Umar – Special Assistant II (Political)

10. Ibrahim Bapparu (Kala) – Special Assistant II (Political)

11. Umar Abdullahi Rambo – Special Assistant II (Political)

12. Adamu Mohammed (Maja) – Special Assistant II (Political)

13. Musa Aliyu – Special Assistant II (Political)

14. Sadiya Alhassan Aminu Maiwake – Special Assistant II on Women Mobilisation

15. Lami Adamu – Special Assistant II on Women Mobilisation

16. Bulus Yerima Bangunji – Special Assistant II (Political)

Njodi said Governor Yahaya expects the new appointees to demonstrate competence, loyalty, and dedication in the discharge of their duties in service of the state.
