Gombe Gov Approves Appointment of Sole Administrator for Investment Company

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of Mohammed Bello Abubakar Kumo as the Sole Administrator and Liquidator of the Gombe State Investment and Property Development Company (GSIPDC).

Abubakar Kumo, currently serving as Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Head of Civil Service, will oversee the winding down of GSIPDC as part of the state’s restructuring efforts.

The goal is to streamline operations, strengthen the investment sector, and position the Investment Promotion Agency for a pivotal role.

The Head of Civil Service, Ahmed Kasimu Abdullahi, conveyed the Governor’s approval on Friday, highlighting Abubakar Kumo’s wealth of experience and expertise. His appointment is expected to ensure a smooth transition and drive the restructuring process, creating a more robust and competitive investment environment for the state’s development.
