The Gombe State Government, led by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, plans to establish a modern GSM Village at the former Gombe Line Terminus site, fostering a favorable business environment in the state.
The project, a joint venture with Gombe Local Government, will create a modern GSM market with world-class facilities and infrastructure, generating thousands of jobs and boosting the state’s internally generated revenue.
Barrister Sani Ahmad Haruna, ALGON Chairman Gombe State and Chairman of Gombe Local Government, announced this on Sunday during a joint inspection with GOSUPDA at the project site.
The government also urged seamless relocation to the Ibrahim Dankwambo Mega Motor Park, praising Governor Yahaya’s foresight in establishing the park, which will improve safety, security, revenue, and economic growth.
The Executive Chairman of GOSUPDA, Alh. Bappayo Samanja Maudo, reiterated Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s commitment to creating well-structured business spaces that adhere to urban planning standards.
The joint team also assessed the suitability of the Gombe LGA Shopping Complex and Abubakar Umar Stadium site for a modern mechanic village, complementing the Dankwambo Mega Motor Park and stimulating economic growth and development.
