Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has on Wednesday approved some key appointments to enhance State’s administration and advance its development objectives.
Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General Press Affairs, Government House Gombe, released in a statement.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who conveyed the Governor’s approval, said the new appointments cover a spectrum of crucial roles, including security, social welfare programme, gender mainstreaming, educational opportunities, administrative functions, and technology-driven entrepreneurship.
The new appontees are: AIG Zubairu Mu’azu (Rtd), Special Adviser on Security Matters; Aishatu Adamu, Special Adviser/State Coordinator, Social Investment Programme; Finney David, Special Adviser on Women Affairs/ Nigeria for Women Project and Amina Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Special Adviser on Almajiri & Tsangaya Education.
Also appointed are: ACP Ibrahim Bappa (Rtd) as Director-General & Commandant, GOSTEC; brahim Saidu Umar, Senior Special Assistant (I) on Protocol Matters and Yakubu Sarma, Senior Special Assistant (I) on General Duties.
All the appointments are with immediate effect.
