Gombe Governor Names New Commissioner, Special Advisers

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya on Tuesday approved key appointments to enhance the state’s administration and advance its development objectives.

The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, conveyed the Governor’s approval, citing the new appointees’ proven track records, loyalty, experience, and commitment to service.

The new appointees include:

– Shehu Umar Yerima Abdullahi – Commissioner-Nominee
– 15 Special Advisers, including Abubakar Usman Barambu, Shu’aibu Iliya Kashere, and Habu Ali Kalshingi
– 3 Deputy Chiefs of Staff: Umar Bello Yayaru (North), Bello Sulaiman (Central), and Abubakar Dantata (South)
– Jamilu Ja’afaru – Director General (Federal Gov’t Relation & Abuja Liaison Office)
– 5 Senior Special Assistants, including Garba Umaru, Magret Bitrus, and Saleh Shu’aibu Galadima

All appointments take effect immediately.
