Gombe Governor Visits Nigerian Embassy in Morocco, Seeks Support for Business Drive

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, visited the Nigerian Embassy in Rabat on Thursday, seeking support from Nigerian authorities to facilitate his state’s business drive in Morocco.

Governor Yahaya met with Charge de Affairs and Acting Nigerian Ambassador to Morocco, Adamu Abubakar Zanwa, to explore ways to enhance business opportunities between Gombe State and Morocco. The governor’s delegation aims to attract investments, create job opportunities, and boost the state’s economy.

This mission aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda to diversify Nigeria’s economy through foreign partnerships. Governor Yahaya emphasized the need for diplomatic backing to ensure the success of their week-long investment mission.

The governor expressed gratitude for the warm reception and appreciated the ambassador’s commitment to facilitating meetings with Moroccan business leaders and government officials. The Acting Ambassador assured full support, including diplomatic backing, to achieve their objectives.
