Gombe Govt Allocates 11.7 Billion Naira For Extensive Road Construction

In a strategic move to enhance infrastructure development, the Gombe State Government, led by Governor Inuwa Yahaya, has approved a significant allocation of 11.7 billion Naira for the construction of an expansive road network spanning over 80 kilometers across various local government areas.

The approved road projects include:

1. A 27.8 km road stretching from Kyari Junction to Gadam via Yame in Kwami LGA.
2. The 26.5 km Bajoga-Munda-Wakaltu-Munda-Dukul-Gafara-Shani Road in Funakaye and Nafada LGAs.
3. A 29.4 km road from Wade to Garin Kushi to Kubu in Yamaltu Deba LGA.
4. Internal road network within the newly established College of Nursing and Midwifery in Gombe.

This substantial investment in infrastructure underscores the state government’s commitment to improving connectivity and accessibility for residents across Gombe State.
