The Gombe State Transport Service, known as Gombe Line, has announced the expansion of its services with the addition of new routes to Biu and Azare, aimed at improving transportation access for commuters within the region.
In a statement issued on Saturday in Gombe, the Director-General and Sole Administrator of Gombe Line, Dr. Sani Sabo, said the new routes are part of the company’s commitment to meeting the rising demand for reliable and efficient transportation options.
According to Sabo, the daily service from Gombe to Biu will commence on Sunday, with departures from the Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo Mega Park, opposite the Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe. Similarly, trips from Biu to Gombe will start on Monday, departing from the Borno Express Terminal in Biu.
“This initiative is intended to improve connectivity between Gombe and Biu, providing a more convenient travel option for both residents and visitors,” Sabo said.
Additionally, Sabo noted that Gombe Line had already commenced a daily route to Azare last week, receiving positive feedback from passengers.
Gombe Line reassured passengers of its commitment to safety and comfort, urging the public to take advantage of these new routes and promising a continued focus on quality service delivery.
