Gombe United have resumed training for the 2024-25 season, after a long break following their relegation to the lower division last season.
The team, also known as the Savannah Scorpions, had a training session at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe on Monday, as they prepare for the upcoming Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Last week, the club announced the appointment of Bala Nikyu as their new head coach, ahead of the new season.
Gombe United will participate in the 2024-25 NNL season, aiming to bounce back from their relegation and secure promotion to the top division.
