Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has appealed to the federal government for immediate intervention in the Malori/Kuskuri community, which was recently devastated by flooding.
The governor’s request comes after a highway bridge in the area was washed away, severely impacting transportation and economic activities.
During a visit to the affected community on Thursday, Governor Mohammed pledged his administration’s support, promising to assist in rebuilding the damaged bridge. He emphasized his commitment to easing transportation challenges and promoting economic growth in Bauchi State.
The governor also solicited continued support from the community, hinting at upcoming developmental projects and additional dividends of democracy. His media aide, Lawal Muazu, reported on the visit, highlighting the governor’s efforts to address the community’s needs.
