In another relevant development, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri encouraged students to apply for the 200 government-funded foreign science scholarships.
According to Muhammad B. Tukur, Senior Special Assistant on new media to the Governor, 200 students will receive fully-funded overseas scholarships from the State Government in important fields including science, engineering, ICT, and artificial intelligence.
The Scholarship Board and the Ministry of Education will soon announce the details of this programme.
Governor Fintiri urged potential students to apply for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to attend some of the top universities overseas.
