Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has once again vowed to prosecute those who connived with Ari Hudu to steal the people’s mandate during the 2023 elections.
According to Muhammad B. Tukur, SSA New Media to the Governor, Fintiri stated this during a statewide broadcast reaffirming his belief in the judiciary following the outcome of the Supreme Court verdict which affirmed his election victory.
The PDP Governor says it is pathetic that some undemocratic elements were bent on denying the Adamawa electorate their mandate, noting that the citizens were there in the various courtrooms to demonstrate their resistance to state capture.
As a government, he says the best way to pay back is to serve the people well by renewed dedication to his ongoing policy of free education through a functional public school system and payment of WAEC and NECO, provision of healthcare and health insurance, continuity of policies that empower women and youths.
He added that his second tenure will be in the continuity of justice and fair play, peace, and security, and in a system that confers pride, dignity, and self-respect to Adamawa State.
