Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has completed the permanent headquarters of the Gombe State Security, Traffic, and Environmental Corps (GOSTEC) to enhance security and public safety across the state.
GOSTEC was established by the governor to support existing security agencies, regulate traffic, and maintain environmental safety. Initially operating from a temporary office, the corps now has a fully equipped administrative and operational base to improve efficiency.
The completion of the headquarters reflects Governor Yahaya’s commitment to institutionalizing security reforms and ensuring a peaceful environment for residents.
“This development is a clear demonstration of the governor’s resolve to strengthen security architecture and enhance public safety in Gombe State,” a government statement read.
The initiative aligns with the governor’s broader vision of proactive governance, reinforcing Gombe’s reputation as one of Nigeria’s most peaceful and well-organized states.
