Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has approved the appointment of 61 new special aides, bringing the total number of his appointments to 194.
The announcement was made by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Barrister Gebon Timothy Kataps, in a statement released to journalists on Tuesday in Jalingo.
The new appointees include two journalists, Justine Tyopuusu and Janet Audu, who have promised to work tirelessly to support the governor’s goals.
The Chapel Chairman, Gabriel Yough, also praised the governor and promised a cordial working relationship.
This development comes after the recent appointment of 123 aides, which included Shiban Tikari, a former council chairman who was later removed from the list due to public outcry over his alleged involvement in a kidnapping and murder case.
