Gov. Kefas Inaugurates Bio-entrepreneurship Agency Board, Post-TARAVEST Summit Committee

Gov. Agbu Kefas of Taraba on Monday inaugurated the Board of the Taraba State Bio-entrepreneurship Innovation and Solution Agency, alongside the Post-TARAVEST Summit Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony on Monday in Jalingo, Kefas said the new committee would consolidate the gains of the recently concluded TARAVEST Summit and chart clear pathways for the state’s economic and social development.

He described the initiative as a major step toward wealth creation, innovation, and environmental stewardship, noting that his administration had carefully steered the course of development to produce an enduring legacy.

“The Post-TARAVEST Summit Committee is going to solidify the foundation of our development and pathways to prosperity to no small extent,” the governor said.

Kefas further announced that his administration would establish innovation hubs across all 16 Local Government Areas of the state. He explained that the hubs would ensure no community was left behind, while linking Taraba’s natural wealth to local job creation and the global market.

The governor assured residents that the new structures would accelerate investment, empower entrepreneurs, and position Taraba as a hub of bio-innovation in Nigeria.
