Governor Fintiri Approves Land For FG’s Diaspora Housing Project In Adamawa

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved Land for construction of Diaspora Housing Project by the federal government in the state.

The Governor gave the approval when he received the management of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) on a courtesy call in the Government House, Yola Monday.

Governor Fintiri pointed out that the diaspora city project will complement the efforts of his administration in providing decent and affordable housing units for the masses in the state.

Fintiri mentions that his administration has completed the one thousand housing units in Malkohi, adding that it has provided much interventions to cushion the effects of subsidy removal on the people.

He assured the delegation that all the necessary provisions such as land will be made available in the next seven days, saying the present administration is fully committed to the realization of the project.

The Managing Director/CEO of FHA, Hon Oyetunde Ojo said the project will enable Diaspora Nigerians own quality houses in the country; a vision that is aligned to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mr Ojo reveals that the Diaspora mass Housing unit will have all the facilities such as police station, hospital, supermarket, among others adding that sixty percent of contractors of the project will come from Adamawa

He appreciates Governor Fintiri for the warm reception accorded the delegation and commended him for the provision of road, empowerment programmes, and healthcare, as well as ensuring prompt payment of salary, and pension.
