Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mourns Ciroman Funakaye

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Funakaye, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Yakubu Muhammad Kwairanga over the demise of his elder brother, Alh. Umar Muhammad Kwairanga (Ciroman Funakaye).

Alhaji Umar Kwairanga died over the weekend at the age of 65 after a brief illness.

In his condolence message, Governor Yahaya described the late Ciroman Funakaye as a respected figure whose contributions to his community and Gombe State at large will be dearly missed, having served for over two decades in various capacities at the Ministry of Agriculture.

“On behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, I extend our deepest sympathies to the Emir of Funakaye, HRH. Alh. Yakubu Muhammad Kwairanga, the deceased’s immediate family and the entire members of the royal family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time,” the Governor said.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya further prayed for Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljannat Firdaus and the family the fortitude to bear this great loss.
