Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has announced the appointment of 21 individuals to various Boards and Parastatals within the state, as disclosed in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Timothy Kataps.
The recent appointments, revealed over the weekend, encompass the selection of four Special Advisers, 11 board members for the Taraba State Investment Promotion Agency, and six board members for the Taraba Board of Internal Revenue.
The appointed Special Advisers include Charles Maijankai for Homeland Security Matters, Zanau Maikasuwa for Agriculture & Food Security, Sunday Patrick for Christian Religion Matters, and Hussaini Ismail for Muslim Religious Affairs.
Heading the Taraba State Investment Promotion Agency is Kabiru Jalo, while Jeremiah Faransa assumes the role of Chairman for the Taraba Board of Internal Revenue.
Furthermore, Governor Kefas has approved the appointment of Benjamin Baissa as the new Permanent Secretary for the Bureau for Local Government, Traditions, and Chieftaincy Affairs, signaling a strategic move to strengthen governance and administration within the state.
