Governor Agbu Kefas has set up a 17-man committee for the revival of the Nwonyo International Fishing Festival in Ibi LGA of Taraba State.
The festival, which was last held in 2007 during the late Danbaba Suntai administration, was suspended for security reasons. The committee, which will be headed by the Deputy Governor, Aminu Alkali, has all the traditional rulers, commissioners and chairmen of LGAs in Southern Taraba as members.
