A tragic incident has been reported in the early hours of Friday, January 3, 2026, in Gweda Mallam area of Numan Local Government Area, Adamawa State, where an Igbo trader was allegedly killed by his two sons.
The victim, identified as ThankGod Ogar, a Numan-based Igbo trader, was reportedly attacked inside his residence at about 1:00 a.m. He was later confirmed dead by residents who raised alarm after the incident.
According to eyewitness accounts, the two suspects allegedly escaped from the scene by jumping over the compound fence shortly after the incident.
