Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has on Tuesday commissioned the newly completed Mega Motor Park in Gombe, naming it after his predecessor, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, in recognition of his contributions to the state’s progress.
The Governor described the Ultra-Modern Motor Park as a landmark project that signifies his administration’s commitment to providing top-tier transport infrastructure for the people of Gombe State.
He commended Senator Dankwambo for initiating the project and acknowledged the hard work and dedication of stakeholders and partners who contributed to its successful completion.
Minister of Transportation, Sen. Sa’idu Ahmed Alkali, and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Land Transport, Sen. Adamu Aliero, praised Governor Inuwa Yahaya for his accomplishments, including the completion of the Mega Motor Park, which they described as unique and remarkable within the Nigerian transportation sector.
The Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, CFR, thanked the Governor for completing the project, acknowledging his remarkable accomplishments in critical sectors of growth and development over the last five years.
The Ibrahim Dankwambo Mega Motor Park is designed to enhance connectivity, boost economic activities, and improve the quality of life for the people of Gombe State.
