The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a new date for the matchday 35 encounter between Katsina United and Gombe United.
Initially scheduled for Sunday, June 9, the match will now take place on Saturday, June 8, at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
According to Davidson Owumi, NPFL’s chief operating officer, the date change was necessary due to logistics constraints. This decision was communicated to both clubs in a letter sent by the NPFL.
Notably, Gombe United has been relegated from the NPFL. Despite this, the team will still participate in the rescheduled match against Katsina United on June 8.
