
Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has officially inaugurated the main and local organizing committees for the upcoming Taraba International Investment Summit, scheduled to hold next month.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony on Saturday, Governor Kefas said the summit is a strategic platform to showcase Taraba’s investment potential and promote homegrown technologies across critical sectors.
He disclosed that the summit will be chaired by Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, a seasoned public servant and investment advocate, under whose leadership the state hopes to attract both local and international investors.
“The summit will highlight opportunities in key sectors such as mining, forestry, game reserves, housing, healthcare, education, water resources, transportation, and industrialization,” the governor stated.
He emphasized the importance of leveraging Taraba’s rich natural and human resources for sustainable development, adding that the summit is part of broader efforts to reposition the state as a hub for investment and innovation.
Governor Kefas expressed confidence that the committees would deliver a world-class event and urged them to work collaboratively to ensure the success of the summit.
