
Lincoln University, Kumo, has released the official breakdown of its available academic programmes and tuition fees, providing prospective students and the general public with clear details of costs across its faculties for the current admission cycle.
According to the information made available by the institution, the university offers programmes under three major faculties: the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Computing, and the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences. The fees are structured to accommodate both Gombe State indigenes and students from other states, with indigenes enjoying reduced rates.
Under the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, the MD/MBBS programme attracts an annual fee of ₦3,000,000 for non-indigenes and ₦2,500,000 for Gombe indigenes. Other programmes in the faculty include Nursing Sciences, Medical Imaging (Radiography), Public Health, Community Health, Environmental Health and Safety, and Health Information Management, with annual fees ranging between ₦350,000 and ₦850,000 depending on the course and category.
The Faculty of Science and Computing offers programmes such as Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences (Hons), Information Technology, and Computer Science with specialisation in Networking and Cybersecurity. Annual tuition fees in this faculty range from ₦300,000 to ₦500,000, with semester payments available.
In the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, programmes include Business Administration (Accounting), Business Administration (Hons), Mass Communication (Hons), and Management with emphasis on Oil and Gas Management. Tuition fees in this faculty are pegged at ₦450,000 annually for non-indigenes and ₦350,000 for Gombe indigenes.
Highlighting its academic philosophy, Lincoln University noted that its programmes are designed with about 80 per cent practical content, aimed at producing job creators and problem solvers. The institution also emphasized that it is NUC-approved, offers foreign degree opportunities, and processes admissions within seven working days. The university further described its fees as affordable and indigene-friendly.
