The Management of the University of Maiduguri has approved the appointment of Major Abiya Mohammed (rtd) as the Chief Security Officer (CSO) with the Security Division, University of Maiduguri.
Abiya’s appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar of the University, Malam Ahmed Alhaji Lawan, dated 11th June, 2024.
According to the Registrar, Abiya’s appointment as the CSO takes effect from 10th July, 2024.
Abiya took over the office of the CSO from Malam Isa Adamu who served as the Acting CSO.
